About

Jump Rehabilitation was founded with a clear purpose: to provide high-quality, personalised exercise rehabilitation for individuals recovering from workplace and motor vehicle injuries.

With over 22 years of experience in exercise rehabilitation and injury management, the foundation of Jump Rehabilitation is built on a deep understanding of what injured individuals need to recover effectively—not just physically, but functionally. Too often, rehabilitation can feel rigid or disconnected from real-life demands. Jump Rehabilitation was created to offer a more flexible, client-centered approach that focuses on meaningful, real-world outcomes.

Services are tailored to each individual, taking into account their injury, goals, work demands, and personal circumstances. Whether it’s returning to work, improving function, or rebuilding confidence in the injury, every program is designed to support a safe and sustainable recovery.

Jump Rehabilitation works closely with injured workers, insurers, employers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a collaborative and outcome-driven approach to injury management.

The goal is simple: make injury rehabilitation more accessible, more personalised, and more effective.

Frequently Asked Questions

Your initial assessment is a comprehensive session where we discuss your injury, medical history, work demands, and recovery goals. Most importantly, it’s about you—your experience, your concerns, and what you want to achieve from rehabilitation.

We’ll also complete a physical assessment to understand your current capacity. In many cases, we include biopsychosocial questionnaires (e.g. pain, stress, and anxiety) to help identify any barriers that may be impacting your recovery. This allows us to develop a tailored rehabilitation plan that supports both your physical and overall wellbeing, with a clear focus on return to work.

In most cases, services are funded by your insurer (e.g. your employer’s insurer or the Insurance Commission of Western Australia). This typically includes the cost of your rehabilitation sessions, and a gym membership where required.

Yes. We often recommend choosing a gym that is close to your home or workplace to make attendance easier and improve consistency. If needed, we will help guide you in selecting a suitable facility.

A Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE) is a detailed assessment that measures your physical abilities in relation to your job requirements. It provides objective information to assist with return-to-work planning and overall injury management.

Work conditioning and hardening are structured rehabilitation programs designed to prepare you for the physical demands of your job. These programs often take place in a gym environment close to your home or workplace and are typically funded by your insurer.

They involve simulating real work tasks and focus on building strength, endurance, and confidence for a safe and sustainable return to work.

Yes, in most cases a referral is required from your insurer, employer, or treating healthcare provider. If you’re unsure, feel free to contact us and we can guide you through the process.

We offer flexible service delivery, including gym-based rehabilitation, home-based programs, and hydrotherapy where appropriate. We aim to provide services in locations that best support your recovery and attendance.

Yes. We work closely with all relevant stakeholders, including your insurer, employer, and treating healthcare providers, to ensure a coordinated and outcome-focused approach to your recovery and return to work.

Comfortable clothing suitable for exercise, a towel, and supportive footwear are recommended. If you have any relevant medical reports or imaging, it can be helpful to bring those along as well.

The biopsychosocial approach recognises that recovery is influenced by more than just the physical injury. It also considers psychological factors (such as stress, anxiety, or confidence) and social factors (such as work environment, support systems, and daily demands).

In rehabilitation, this means we look at the whole picture—not just the injury itself. By understanding any barriers that may be impacting your recovery, we can tailor your program to better support your progress and help you achieve a safe and sustainable return to work.

Referring to Jump Rehabilitation is simple. Just use the referral form on our website or contact us directly, and we’ll guide you through the process.
